Battlefield 6 Battle Royale Launches Very Soon as a F2P Experience

After months of anticipation, the BR game type for Battlefield 6 is finally launching. Last week's rumors indicating its release would align with the new season were spot-on. Gamers can jump into the gameplay starting in just a day.

Launch Season Introducing a New Map, Mode, and Guns

Alongside the battle royale addition, the first season is also starting. This introduces a fresh location, a fresh game type, and new weapons. Additionally, the Redacted Sector is making its debut. A embedded preview will become available at release, offering players a glimpse of what's to come.

Free-to-Play Model Enables the Mode Accessible to Any Player

Perhaps the key announcement is that the battle royale mode will be free-to-play. Much like popular titles, you don't have to buy the original Battlefield 6 to play. Some participants have previously tested alpha versions of the game type. These tests were held in a collaborative space, which the team described as their most ambitious fan involvement effort.

The heart-pounding excitement during encounters with enemy players can't be found in any other last-man-standing mode. It's like a true survival situation, and you genuinely worry if you make it or not.
Despite being a skeptic earlier, I'm fully a fan of the battle royale since trying it.

These first reactions from players have been overwhelmingly favorable. Certainly, the mode may have been adjusted over the past couple of months in terms of tuning and tempo. However, early signs are promising that the battle royale could be a true rival to leading offerings. Many are expecting that the most effective firearms from the main game will also apply in the new mode.
