Barça to Host Inaugural Fixture at Renovated Camp Nou over the weekend
Barcelona have announced they will play at the still-under-construction Camp Nou this Saturday. Athletic Bilbao will visit the Basque side in domestic competition two and a half years after they moved out so building work could begin.
“We’ve dreamed about the return. Now, it’s here. We’re back home. Back at Spotify Camp Nou.”
Not all seats will be available but 45,401 spectators are permitted inside based on approved permits. After final construction, the stadium’s capacity will reach almost 105,000 spectators, up from the previous 99,000. Officials confirmed completed upgrades featured a renovated tunnel for players and new dressing rooms.

Barcelona held a fan-accessible workout at the Camp Nou earlier this month. They mentioned they are seeking authorization from Uefa to host the next European match against Eintracht Frankfurt in December in the renovated venue. Their recent games have been held at Estadio Olímpic Lluís Companys.
