Aircraft Spirals Uncontrollably into Palm Trees at Well-Known California Shoreline
An aircraft flying over a popular southern California shoreline unexpectedly began spiraling uncontrollably, ultimately dropping height and crashing into a row of palm trees as onlookers observed.
Videos uploaded on social media show the aircraft beginning to twirl over the shoreline then plunging near the border of the coast, where it gets stuck among palm trees and a staircase close to the Pacific Coast highway.
Rescue Operation Details
The Huntington Beach fire department stated five people were rushed to the hospital involving two individuals who were in the helicopter and were “extracted safely from the crash site” following the accident on the weekend.
Three individuals on the road were injured. Information on their injuries were not immediately available.
What led to the incident was not immediately released.
